ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
| Q.
If there is a God or Avatara why then the dualities in this world,
for instance why evil and not just good? |
A. In Hinduism God is not infinite good and
infinite evil but transcends all distinctions. These distinctions are
valid for us but His worth is not like ours. He is the author of good
and evil only in the sense that in any created world there must be
such contraries or it would not be a world. In that he both makes
alive and slays gives and takes away, he does things that are from the
human point of view both good and evil. But His worth is neither
increased by one nor decreased by the other effect. "The Lord
hath given and the Lord hath taken away, blessed be the Name of the
Lord."
| Q.
Do all religions state the same Truth? If yes then why the
differences? |
A. Different scriptures of different religions
illuminate one another not correct one another. There are different
ways of stating the truth there are not different religions. But there
are different idioms and symbols in which different peoples at
different times have clothed the revelations of Himself that God has
given hem.
| Q.
What is the difference between a Tantra Gyani and a Tantric ? |
A. Body tantra is a complete replica of universal
tantra (mechanism). Tantra means mechanism. Tantra of a human is total
body, mind and soul mechanism. Mantra is sound vibration that vibrates
the highest tantra - human. Yantra is vehicle-human body, which
carries the tantra pervading in human. Yantra means machine. And the
person who knows the system of tantra, mantra and yantra, whole and
complete is a tantra gyani, a gyani of Shiv Shakti energy. All evolved
souls who came to the earth- to eradicate ignorance were tantra
gyanis. There is a very significant difference between tantra gyani
and tantric. Tantric does not know the complete science of yantra,
mantra and tantra. He only masters certain aspects of this highest
body yantra and starts using them at the occult power level. Where as
a tantra gyani, whom Vedas describe as tattva gyani, is on a constant
growth along with the supreme consciousness. His deeds are guided by
cosmic intelligence. His whole being is in total surrender to divine
will. The supreme force that automatically works for evolution and
growth guides all his actions. It cannot be manipulated by mind games
because tantra gyani never operates from mind level. Tantra gyani uses
the energy/ Shakti for the divine cause of spreading love and light.
| Q.
What does it mean when it is said that we must love all, how can
we love all? |
A. Means love of what in them is divine and as
this is identical with what in us is divine, it is just as much
Self-love (i.e. love of Self) as love of others.
| Q.
What is right education? |
A. Education must be two fold-on the one hand to
enable the outer man to do the tasks for which he is naturally fitted,
and the second to enable us to recognize in the inner man our real
Self and in the outer man no more than a valuable tool adapted to
contingent ends.
| Q.
Is suffering necessary for enlightenment ? |
A. No. Awareness and Intelligence is. A Hindu
ascetic finally reached the gates of heaven. He was given an ancient
text to ponder before being let in. He understood the text until he
came to a paragraph that made him cry God asked him why he was crying.
The old man looked at him and said, "But this says, "celebrate"
not "celibate".
| Q.
What is Spirituality ? |
A. Spirituality is an understanding that the world
is one, and that diverse human life and all other natural creations
are not separate to us, and that we all have a common divine aspect
which we can merge with and harmonize our lives with joy, love and
giving. While Religion divides, Spirituality unites all.
| Q.
How do we understand or experience this? |
A. We need to know initially that all religions
have spoken of a higher ground.
This higher ground could be understood as the Divine Life Force that
binds all humanity and the world. In India it is called BRAMHA.
Through a process of spiritual investigation, an individual can
through reading books, practicing various techniques through
collective spiritual discourse and most importantly through his own
intuition and experience perceive the world as one and that all
humanity flows from the same Divine source. One of Our major objective
should be to recognize this, understand it and integrate it in our
lives.
| Q.
How does one begin becoming spiritual ? |
A. Examine initially your viewpoint of the world
in relation to you. Do you sense that though we are all individuals
leading independent lives, having our own aspirations, family,
routine, problems, location nationality etc that we are all at a
deeper level interconnected? Do you recognize that instinctively most
of humanity wants love, goodness, joy, happiness, freedom and we have
a misplaced view that the pursuit of wealth and power will give us all
that? Material wealth is useful in that it gives you the opportunity
to discover freedom and tranquility in comfort. But wealth or fame or
power is not the true objective of our lives. While we may strive for
these aspirations in relation to our inherent nature and qualities,
the manner in which we do so and your mental viewpoint is most
critical. Begin by performing all actions correctly, intelligently,
calmly and without being swayed by the eventual outcome. Discriminate
between desire and need, ambition and duty. This is the first step to
adopting a spiritual approach to your life.
| Q.
Is spirituality the discovery of god or what is the connection? |
A. Spirituality is perceived differently by varied
people. But a person engaged in Spiritual investigation begins to
observe issues differently and live in the world more positively.
Through reading various literature on spirituality, through techniques
such as meditation, yoga and through interaction with other spiritual
seekers we begins to experience the potential awareness of his own
Divinity. He will also begin to closely identify with all the
harmonious aspects of the world and live in that mode. In this process
you cannot but feel a close affinity with the creator of life, with
God as we define Him. The final understanding of spiritual growth is
that we are not separate to God or to the Divine forces that have
created us, that exists within us and are around us such as in Nature.
Most importantly, we all have the potential to Be Gods.
