Form Of Meditation THE MANTRA

Having practiced conscious breathing, you may now like to combine that with mantra repetition. When breathing in and breathing out become harmonious, unconscious breathing become conscious breathing, you can use a mantra.

This further helps in focusing the mind into its inner world. As you repeat the mantra in conjunction to your breathing the breath will become more and more still and you will go deeper and deeper into meditation. Do Not expect experiences, lights flashing, jolts, blue, white or pink. Just accept your own stillness.

The two mantra used commonly during meditation are either, Om Namah Shivaya or Soham or as in Buddhism the two most famous mantras are-Oh ah hum vajra Guru Padma siddhi hum - and Om Mani Padma Hum.

You may have received a mantra from your guru you could chant this instead.
